Calorique heating film was officially safety tested by the testing Institute NEMKO with a registered office in Germany with focus on electrical installations and buildings.
According to the certificate’s underlying DIN VDE IEC / EN 60335-2-96 (Safety of electrical appliances for household and similar use – Part 2-96: particular requirements for surface heating elements - IEC 60335-2-96:2002 + A1: 2003 + Corrigendum: 2003 + A2: 2008; German version EN 60335-2-96:2002 + A1: 2004 + A2: 2009) the temperature rise tests were carried out with wooden floor. The heating remained far below the limits.
