Before installation, please read the instructions carefully!

The installation of this product must be carried out exactly according to the manufacturer’s instructions. The connection to electricity must be made by a qualified electrician. A RCD with breaker are necessary in the circuit for protection against faulty current or short circuit. After the installation, a highly visible sticker must mark the heated area: No drilling! No piercing! Electric floor or ceiling heating!

• The heating film must not be installed below 0 ° C.
• Check whether all materials, including laminate, vapor barrier and thermal insulation fit the underfloor heating.
• Do not twist the heating film, unduly cut it, kink or damage it in any way.
• No sofas or chairs without feet can be place on the heated floor.
• To avoid damage to the flooring due to excessive heat, the heat output of the heating film must be restricted with a thermostat to a safe level according specifications to floor material.

Required tools and materials

• A set of Calorique® (the heating film and accessories for each strip);
• Thermostat with sensor;
• Scissors, pliers;
• Universal test instrument;
• Tape;
• Electrical cable with a diameter of at least 1mm2
• Heat resistant polyethylene film having a density of at least 140g/m2 or 200µ;
• Heat insulating material (polyethylene foam);
• Plywood (with the installation of foil under laminate, hardwood, carpet, linoleum);
• Gypsum fiber boards (with the installation of film under tiles);
• Stapler.

Underfloor heating assembly

Laminate, parquet board, wooden board

• Flat subfloor without sharp protruding parts such as screws, etc.;
• Thermal insulation layer of foam material at least 3mm thick;
• Heating Film Calorique®;
• Moisture barrier of polyethylene film;
• Protective screening; aluminum foil (optional);
• Laminate, parquet board, wooden board.

 Carpet, linoleum, parquet

• Flat subfloor without sharp protruding parts such as screws, etc.;
• Thermal insulation layer of foam material at least 3mm thick;
• Heating Film Calorique®;
• Moisture barrier of polyethylene film;
• Protective screening; aluminum foil (optional);
• Plywood, gypsum fiber boards, chipboards evened out for the final layer;
• Carpet, linoleum, parquet.

Note: If no furniture will be placed on the heated surface, the floor covering can be laid directly without the plywood layer.

Tiles

• Flat subfloor without sharp protruding parts such as screws, etc.;
• Thermal insulation layer of foam material at least 3mm thick;
• Heating Film Calorique®;
• Moisture barrier of polyethylene film;
• Protective screening; aluminum foil (optional);
• Plywood, gypsum fiber boards, chipboards evened out for the final layer;
• Tile adhesive, tiles.
